Hello, and welcome to the homepage for the *~Everything Andrew Lloyd Webber~* mailing list. This list (for those of you who don't know) is an RPG for everyone who is a fan of any ALW musicals, from "Phantom" to "Cats" to "Sunset". How does it work? All you have to do is choose a character from any ALW musical, or make up your own (character, not musical)*lol*. We will choose different settings in which all the characters can interact, and it will pretty much work like every other RPG out there. Hopefully, it will be alot of fun. It is a very new enterprise on our part, so bear with us,please. We hope to have the RPG up and running in a week or so...mid-January,anyhow. *lol*

Once again, you may have 2 main characters and as many created characters as you wish.
The story takes place in Paris,France. The characters have all gathered to attend a gala in honour of the opening of a brand new opera, premiering at the Paris Opera House. This opera higlights the beginning of the Opera House's anniversary season, which includes both classical favourites and works from talented new writers.
Recently, the city of Paris has seen major improvements, and it is now among the most advanced and cultured cities in the world. In addition to the famed Opera House, there is a new Cineplex located a block from the theatre district, showing the finest new movies in the world. Because the industry is booming, there is a new set of movie studios on the West Side of the city, surrounded by some of the most elegant homes in Paris...many occupied by the movie celebrities who grace Paris' screens. Across the street from the Opera House is the beginning of the theatre district, featuring everything from the most lavish productions in Europe, to a touring company performing an Ibsen play.
There is also a new train station running not only through Paris, but around the country (headed by everyone's favourite railway cat, Skimbleshanks, of course.) But, a flourishing city is bound to have its share of problems: across town, the city has built a new Junkyard,in order to accomodate the growing population. And some residents have complained about the growing number of sidewalk preachers and followers...although some say they are true humanitarians, and possess miraculous powers.
Of course, the outskirts of the city are equally as lovely. There are many cafes and restaurants, as well as beautiful estates. And some even choose to travel to..say...Venice, for weekend getaways. All in all, the place has turned into a wonderful place to be...and we are quite happy that you are.
